Prior to this breakage, Views were working fine with the beta versions of Divi 5. To sum up the problem, Views would render on the backend in the Divi builder but would not on the front end, only rendering the parent in the loop.
Via my previous ticket, as you will see, a solution was provided but this only applied to a particular view in terms of post ids etc.
Elegant Themes support have been a bit evasive each time I go back to them to see if there is any progress in fixing this issue, ultimately acknowledging it as an issue and promising a fix at some unspecified date in the future. Still no fix though.
I find it strange that they can't acknowledge that having loops filtered to parent child post relationship is an important featur to have an inventory/directory setup, to the extent that they haven't even build this into their own looping configurations.
My latest interaction on this topic can be found in the comments of this recent feature update to Divi:

As mentioned > "Native relationship-based loops are not currently available, but Divi 5 now provides the API hooks needed to implement them properly, so the foundations are there for further evolving Divi 5’s looping capabilities – for native and third-party solutions alike."
Perhaps the above points to something that can be implemented in Toolset?
I note the number of sites using Divi and Toolset in the showcase. I am sure there multiple of these beyond this and I am wondering if there have been many others experiencing the same issues with Views in Divi 5?
Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.
I've added your voice to our internal ticket and our Devs will do their best in order to get attention to it. I'll get in touch with you as soon as I've any update on this issue.
Hopefully there may be something in those API hooks that might be a straight forward fix from the Toolset end of things, though I'm at odds why it suddenly broke on a DIvi 5 update when it worked fine through all the other previous alpha and beta versions of Divi 5.
