Tell us what you are trying to do?
I am trying to import posts with images that were assigned to them. The images have been imported into the WordPress media folder and a type created for them "Images" that includes the title and caption. The jpgs have been matched with the "images" type. I also imported the original ID of the images into the image type by assigning it in the last step of WP All Import - or so I thought.

I created the Relationships (one-to-many, images to post) and then added the correct slug and ID to the CSV file of the Posts (news articles). But when I imported one article to test it, the association did not show up in the imported post (see screenshot). The ID for this image was 85. When I look at the ID for the images, it does not show the original ID, but rather much higher numbers assigned by WordPress.

Is there any documentation that you are following?

https://toolset.com/course-lesson/import-posts-from-csv-with-relationships-using-wp-all-import/

Is there a similar example that we can see?

What is the link to your site?

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

I see the following Docs related to import of images using WP ALL Import:

I do not see option to attach the image original ID and hense the ID is assigned by WordPress automatically.

I suggest you should contact WP ALL Import and check with them if they have any feature/workarouund to assign the oringinal image ID with import.

Well, why would Toolset describe the possibility of linking datasets with relationships if you can't use the imported ID? Is there another import option that allows importing the original ID?

Just to be very clear - I created a new type for the Images - so while they have an ID as images in the original WP system, the data in the new Toolset should reflect the ID that is in the old Images table. It is being imported as a data table, not as an "image" per se.

I'm not sure how and what exactly you are trying to import and link.

Here is a sandbox site and you can autologin to it using the following link:

Can you please install all required plugins etc..etc and create a sample file with 3-5 records and tell me what exactly you want to import and where and what is not working.
