Tell us what you are trying to do?

I want to use the template as a framework so really as a template for pages that i fill later manually

The reason is that I want a template that includes columns. Left for the text and right for probable teaser that should appear later in the same way for all articles posted with this template.

The problem is that the configuration that I do on the template (e.g. the column block) does not appear in the new page of this post type, when I open it.

Even I see the setting of the proper template selected. It doesnt contain the columns.

What do I do wrong. Can you help me?

Is there any documentation that you are following?

I tried the video. But its not helping

Is there a similar example that we can see?

What is the link to your site?

Its a general question

Hello,

What template are we talking about? Toolset Content Template?
If it is, you can design the Toolset Content Template with WordPress Blocks editor, and format it with WordPress built-in column block:
https://wordpress.org/support/article/columns-block/
Or Toolset Grid Block:
https://toolset.com/block-item/grid/

Both of them can setup columns for you

Hello Luo,

Thanks so much for your reply.
Yes, I meant the Toolset Content Templates.

As you can see in the video, I am using the WordPress Blocks Editor.
I safed it as Articles Template for „Effective Methods“ - but when I open a new page for ‚Effective Methods‘ with that template, then I have a normal empty WordPress page. I am missing the configurations left and right in the template.

I would like to manage the content in the left and right part from out of the content template.

Thanks so much.
Regards
Jens

Which theme are using?

It depends on your theme, for example: Astra theme
https://toolset.com/documentation/recommended-themes/using-toolset-with-astra-theme/

You can setup theme option, and display the sidebars, see screenshot:
https://toolset.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/toolset-astra-controling-page-layout-for-custom-templates-1.png
There is a theme option for displaying sidebar

Here is the list of Recommended Themes for Toolset-Based Sites:

Hello,

Sorry for my late reply.
I am using the Customizr Theme.

Does it mean that I have no chance with this theme to use the Toolset Templates?
