[Resolved] Products edited with Elementor don’t work with Views and Layouts
This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
Products edited with Elementor don't work with Views and Layouts
Solution:
There is currently a limitation with Elementor, in that Content Templates cannot be built using the Elementor builder. The end of the video shows a few techniques to help work around this issue.
Elementor is one of the page builders that we are working on improving our integration. It is already possible to use Elementor with Toolset BUT with really specific cases (video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ogyGJQTCLpw).
I am trying to: Use a content template in a view or archive view to show WooCommerce Product Image and Title. If the Product description is edited with Elementor, I get the post body instead of the image and title.
Link to a page where the issue can be seen: hidden link
First 3 products show fine and have only been edited with WordPress editor. 4th product shows the problem and its description was edited with Elementor.
I expected to see: All 4 products displayed with image and title.
Instead, I got: 4th product output description instead of image and title despite using the same content template as the first 3 products.
Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.
Well - could you please share problem URL and access details so that I can check your current setup and access details will help me to investigate this issue further.
*** Please make a FULL BACKUP of your database and website.***
I would also eventually need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to your site. Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible in order to be of better help and check if some configurations might need to be changed.
I would additionally need your permission to de- and re-activate Plugins and the Theme, and to change configurations on the site. This is also a reason the backup is really important. If you agree to this, please use the form fields I have enabled below to provide temporary access details (wp-admin and FTP).
I have set the next reply to private which means only you and I have access to it.
Well - could you please tell me how you edit the post body using elementor.
Additionally - please check now - I can see its displaying the correct output now.

I've changed the view in question that displays the output and instead of using content template I added all HTML content to loop output editor as you can see with view here:

Elementor presents certain unique problems, because of how the front-end editor removes all 3rd party modifications, and we are currently working with the Elementor team to find a solution for this. This is still on top of our Devs compatibility list but please note that there is no ETA on it. The only way to use is the workaround I show you.
