Tell us what you are trying to do?
I'm trying to build a form with payments

Is there any documentation that you are following?
I'm reading this post: https://toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/front-end-forms/using-cred-commerce-to-add-payments-to-forms/

Is there a similar example that we can see?
I have attached it as a screenshot

What is the link to your site?

Hi,

Thank you for contacting us and I'd be happy to assist.

To troubleshoot this missing custom field, I'll need to see exactly how this form is set up in the admin area.

Can you please share temporary admin login details along with the link to a page with this form?

Note: Your next reply will be private and please make a complete backup copy, before sharing the access details.

regards,
Waqar

Hi Eugene,

Thank you for sharing the admin access.

During troubleshooting, I noticed that some server or CDN level cache is involved.

When I first checked the field selection dropdown, the "Adults" field wasn't available. But I used the refresh icon next to it a couple of times and then it became available and it is now properly selected and saved.

I hope this helps and in case an issue like this appears again, use the refresh icon and clear all involved caches and then check the dropdown again.

Waqar

Thank you, Waqar. I see about CDN cache. good to know. Would you recommend to disable cache or is it not a good idea for the speed purposes?

I'm sorry to bother you again, Waqar, but I'm stuck: Ok, I chose Adults, inserted another field in the form, called Students. The price would be different, but I can't figure out how to set up this payment thing. I use this guide, but I don't understand a few things:

https://toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/front-end-forms/using-cred-commerce-to-add-payments-to-forms/

1st: "The Custom field content you set for the field’s options must correspond with the Product IDs you want to offer as a choice." - but if I put 1 adult, 2 adults etc - each field would have the same ID as it's the same product, only the number of people is different and the form wouldn't let me use the same ID in every field. How do I set this up? I have tested it and only got an empty email - it only mentions the number of people and that's it, no prices etc.

2nd: If I choose Adults in the form setup, how do I choose another field - students?
I'm confused and I don't understand how to set it up, even after reading this "Using Forms Commerce to add payments to forms" 🙁

Hi Eugene,

Thanks for writing back.

> Would you recommend to disable cache or is it not a good idea for the speed purposes?

- Using optimizations like CDN and cache is useful, however, sometimes it can lead to seeing older content/data.

Whenever you're troubleshooting for some unexpected behavior or results on the website, it is a good idea to clear all involved caches and optimizations and even temporarily disable them, until the troubleshooting completes.

As for your new question, I've created a separate ticket for it and will reply to it shortly.
