Hallo,
I you use "The Events Calendar" Plugin from Modern-Tribe in my WordPress Blog. If I want to use the community function of this plugin and call the Url hidden link I see the message "WP Router Placeholder Page".
If I deactivate the view plugin everything is ok.
ModernTribe can't help.
A long time everything was ok. I don't now exactly since when the problem occurs . Maybe some weeks
I hope you can help
regards
Christoph
Thank you for contacting Toolset Support. I am happy to help you with this.
Since Event Calendar Pro is a paid plugin, can you provide a zipped copy via the private message box?
The private box looks like this:
hidden link
Just copy/paste the URL from Google Drive or Dropbox there. Thank you in advance.
Thank you, Christoph. I will test with the plugin only on a clean install and respond with my findings as soon as possible.
Just a quick update to let you know I am still debugging on my end. Thank you for your patience.
I cannot seem to duplicate the issue. Please try the following:
1. Go to Dashboard > Settings > Permalinks and resave permalinks
2. Can you tell me what the permalink structure is? I did find this issue back from 2012 (which may no long apply but let's rule it out): hidden link where %category% is in the permalink structure. Is this the case for you? If so, can you take out %category% and tell me if it works?
3. Are you being redirected to hidden link OR JUST getting the message "WP Router Placeholder Page"?
4. Can you tell me if you tried in a WordPress default theme such as TwentySixteen?
1. Go to Dashboard > Settings > Permalinks and resave permalinks
This doesn't helpp
2. Can you tell me what the permalink structure is? I did find this issue back from 2012 (which may no long apply but let's rule it out): hidden link where %category% is in the permalink structure. Is this the case for you? If so, can you take out %category% and tell me if it works?
My permalink structure ist hidden link
3. Are you being redirected to hidden link OR JUST getting the message "WP Router Placeholder Page"?
If I click hidden link I receive the message "Safari can't find the server"
4. Can you tell me if you tried in a WordPress default theme such as TwentySixteen?
Yes I tried, but it doesn't help
Another Ideas?
Do you mind if I login and take a look around? Please let me know if the site credentials you are adding is a live site or a testing site.
I would like to request temporary site access. You will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply. The information you will enter is private which means only you and I can see and have access to it.
Our Debugging Procedures
I will be checking various settings in the backend to see if the issue can be resolved. Although I won't be making changes that affect the live site, it is still good practice to backup the site before providing us access. In the event that we do need to debug the site further, I will request to duplicate the site and work in a separate, local development environment to avoid affecting the live site.
Privacy and Security Policy
We have strict policies regarding privacy and access to your information. Please see:
https://toolset.com/toolset-support-policy/privacy-security-providing-debug-information-support/
**IMPORTANT**
- Please make a backup of site files and database before providing us access.
- If you do not see the wp-admin/FTP fields this means your post & website login details will be made PUBLIC. DO NOT post your website details unless you see the required wp-admin/FTP fields. If you do not, please ask me to enable the private box. The private box looks like this:
hidden link
I keep getting the message "invalid login credentials". Can you check those details and let me know? I have re-enabled the private box just in case.
Also, can you check that all plugins are up to date? I was able to get it working locally in a minimal set up environment with Views running so it sounds like something in your particular set up.
Thank you. I am now in and will continue debugging.
I am going to escalate your ticket to 2nd Tier support where they can take a deeper look into the matter. Either a team member from 2nd Tier support or myself will update this thread with progress as it comes along.

Thank you

"OK, I think I was able to replicate this also on a clean install.
It is due to the WordPress Archive Views.
As soon you have such a Archive View assigned to the Start/Blog Archive, the error happens.
As a temporary workaround you might disable that (unassign the WordPress Archive) and then the Event Forms should work again.
I will report this to the Developers and consult what we can do here."
