Custom Fields: user fields are working just fine. But if you go to Post Fields, I can see custom post fields, and I can add new ones, but I cannot edit them. Clicking the arrow to expand does not work. Once a new custom post field has been created, it cannot be edited. Post Control is working -- but it allows me only to change type or change assignment or delete - it does not allow for editing.

Hi,

Thank you for contacting us and I'd be happy to assist.

An issue like this can be a result of some script conflict coming from the theme, custom code, or a third-party plugin.

Do you see any error or warning in the browser's console, when you're on the post field edit screen?

To get started with troubleshooting, I'll suggest the following steps:

1. Please make sure that WordPress, active theme, and plugins are all updated to the latest versions.

2. It would be interesting to test this with all non-Toolset plugins disabled and a default theme like Twenty Twenty.

If it's fixed, you can start adding the disabled items, one-by-one, to narrow down to a possible conflicting one.

3. In case the issue still persists, I'll need to see how these post type(s) and field(s) are set up in the admin area so that it can be reproduced on a test website.

Please let me know how it goes and I'm setting your next reply as private so that you can share temporary admin login details.

Note: Although no changes will be made on your website, please make a complete backup copy, before sharing the access details.

regards,
Waqar
