[Resolved] Page Attributes "Template" Not saving if not using a Layout

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

Okay I was able to download both files, thanks. You can remove them from the server now.


I'm escalating this issue to my 2nd tier support team, because I can't find any obvious reason for the different behavior on these two posts except for the fact that a Template Layout is applied to one. Hopefully they can provide some additional insight here. I'll let you know what I find out.


Just wanted to touch base on this to see if you have any update.


Nothing concrete, I can see that some progress has been made by the developers but the solution is not yet through QA. Unfortunately I don't have a timeline for delivery yet.

Nothing new to report, the solution that was proposed has not been put through QA, so I wouldn't recommend it yet.


Our developers have informed me this will be fixed in the next release of Layouts. I'll keep you posted here as I receive more information about the release schedule.


Hello, our team is in the process of pushing out a round of updates to Toolset plugins, including Layouts. The new versions should be available later today for automatic update. You'll be able to see the updates shortly in Plugins > Add New > Commercial tab, in the Toolset Installer panel, by clicking "Check for Updates". Once you have updated to the latest versions of Toolset plugins, please verify the fix and let me know if the issue is not completely resolved.
