Need to develop a site with events calendar

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

I would like to display an events calendar using custom post types and layouts. Is that possible?

Hello,

Please elaborate the question with more details, what kind of "events calendar" do you need?

Types plugin supports custom date field, so you can create a custom post type "Event",
and add a custom date field into "Event" post, and create a view list "Event" posts, and filter by the date field

Thank you for your reply. I was thinking of making a month calendar wiew - with cells for each of the days. The days that have some events have the event title, while the rest are empty.

Thanks for the details, there isn't such kind of built-in feature within Toolset plugins, you might consider the some other plugins, for example:
