Need to create custom Category for custom Post Type

This support ticket is created 5 years, 10 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Hi !

With a View to manage Ideas Custom Type, I need to add specific category to this Content Type. Idea regarding : Environment, Communication, Conviviality, Energy Waste...

As I have created the Content Type, the Categories used are those regarding standard Post.

An Idea ?

You can head to Toolset > Post Types > your_post_type > Edit and assign any existing Taxonomy to the Post type, or create a whole new taxonomy in Toolset > Taxonomies > New, and then assign that to the Post Type.
