[Resolved] Moving search box

I am trying to: Move the parametric search outside of the content area (ie, into a banner area between nav and static content

I want to see: my search box overlaid on the picture

Instead, I got: search is always right above results

I need to know how I can separate the search boxes from the results so that I can put the search boxes above other static content
