[Resolved] Moving from JetEngine to Toolset

This support ticket is created 2 years, 1 month ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

Hi,

Thank you for contacting us and I'd be happy to assist.

We don't have any documentation/guide specifically on this topic. However, if the 'JetEngine' plugin registers the CPTs in a WordPress standard way, the transition should be very straight forward.

You can deactivate the 'JetEngine' plugin and then register a CPT through Toolset Types, making sure that the slug of the CPT is the same as the one previously registered through the 'JetEngine' plugin.

As a result, the existing posts in this CPT will now be available under this newly registered CPT too.
