Migrating taxonomy from deprecated Type plugin

This support ticket is created 4 years, 9 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

I am in need of migrating the meta data from the now deprecated Type plugin to the paid version of Toolset Type. When purchasing and replacing the plugin to Toolset Type, all the applied meta data for my posts hasn't been carried over. Is there any way I can restore the meta data to these posts.

No documentation being followed

Hello,

The problem you mentioned above is abnormal.

What "meta data" do you want to migrate? custom post fields or custom taxonomies?

If it is custom post fields, you can find them here:
Dashboard-> Toolset-> Custom Fields-> Post Fields
click button "Post Field Control"
