Tell us what you are trying to do?

Hello, we have a paid membership site set up for a client, currently, if you purchase a membership you are allowed to submit home inspection forms for up to 5 home listings.

We are wondering if there is a way to add a "free membership" trial time period.
Examples of the free membership trial periods:
(free membership would end after)
• 1 day
• 1 week
• 1 month

Is there any documentation that you are following? https://toolset.com/course/wordpress-membership-sites/

What is the link to your site? hidden link

Hi,

Thank you for contacting us and I'd be happy to assist.

To suggest the best way to achieve this, first I'll need to understand exactly what tools and setup your website has for the paid memberships.

Can you please share temporary admin login details, in reply to this message?

Note: Your next reply will be private and though no changes will be made on the website, making a complete backup copy is recommended before sharing the access details.

regards,
Waqar

Thank you for sharing the access details.

I understand that your website is set to allow users to register and create a paid/premium user account by using the "Create Account" form and purchasing the product "Premium Membership".

This setup is fine for a one-time payment model, where no recurring payments or time-based access is involved.

But, when you need to allow time-based access (e.g. trial periods) or need to collect recurring payments, you'll need a third-party add-on like "WooCommerce Subscriptions":
https://woocommerce.com/products/woocommerce-subscriptions/

The "WooCommerce Subscriptions" add-on will allow you to change the user roles of the registered user, based on the set time and we have a detailed guide on the topic at:
https://toolset.com/course-lesson/using-the-woocommerce-subscriptions-plugin-with-toolset/

I hope this helps and let me know if you have any follow-up questions.
