Tell us what you are trying to do?

1.This membership site will be only for members. How do I lock the whole site without having to select the precise pages I want to be visible to a visitor? the only page I want visible is the home page. Everything else I wanted to be for members only. I have not been successful in doing it. Some pages in the menu still gives access to visitors. how to prevent that?

2.Also how can I have the menu hidden so just logged in users access that? the only menu items for visitors would be home, resources and login page. all others needed to be hidden (I have 6 menu for members)

3.Can the logout link be added in the menu so it is present in every page for members?

Hi there,

Thank you for contacting us and I'll be happy to assist.

- As you noted, you can restrict access to individual pages, through the Toolset Access plugin.
( ref: https://toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/limiting-read-access-specific-content/ )

But to restrict access, as a whole you can use custom code or third-party plugin so that non-logged in visitors are redirected to the homepage or any other specified page when they try to access all other pages.

Following are some useful links on the topic:
https://wordpress.stackexchange.com/questions/131879/how-to-redirect-non-logged-in-users-to-a-specific-page
https://wordpress.org/plugins/redirect-non-logged-in-users-to-custom-url/ (plugin)
https://wordpress.org/plugins/peters-login-redirect/ (plugin)

2.Also how can I have the menu hidden so just logged in users access that? the only menu items for visitors would be home, resources and login page. all others needed to be hidden (I have 6 menu for members)

- This is not available as a built-in feature in Toolset plugins, but to show/hide specific menu items based on visitors logged in/logged out state, you can use "If Menu" plugin:

https://wordpress.org/plugins/if-menu/
hidden link

3.Can the logout link be added in the menu so it is present in every page for members?

- This feature will also require a third-party plugin or custom code:
hidden link

https://wordpress.org/plugins/login-or-logout-menu-item/

I hope this helps. For future reference, please note that as per our support policy ( https://toolset.com/toolset-support-policy/ ), only one question or issue can be addressed through a single ticket.

You're welcome to open a new ticket for each new question or concern.
