[Resolved] Load on scroll & grouping posts by month

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:

Firstly, I was wondering if it was possible to make the view load more posts on scrolling (until it runs out of posts) giving the appearance of an endless scroll.

Secondly, as the feed is for users of age 50+ we would like to group the posts by date. So every time it changes month there is a title saying what month those posts are for. I have attached a mock up of what I would like to do.

Solution:

Q1) Yes, there is a built-in feature within Views plugin: Infinite Scrolling:

Infinite scrolling allows more content to be displayed automatically, as visitors scroll down a page. With infinite scrolling, readers get the feeling that the page is endless.

Q2) There is a document about "How to group Views results by year and month".

I have created a view with one column of events.

I was wondering if either of these are possible and if so how I'd do them.

Hello.

Q1) Yes, there is a built-in feature within Views plugin: Infinite Scrolling
https://toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/infinite-scrolling-in-views/

Infinite scrolling allows more content to be displayed automatically, as visitors scroll down a page. With infinite scrolling, readers get the feeling that the page is endless.

Q2) There is a document about "How to group Views results by year and month":

There are detail steps for "display a list of posts, grouped by month and year" in above document.

For your reference.

Brilliant, I think I must've been calling the functionality the wrong thing when searching! Thank you very much!
