[Resolved] Is this the correct way to set up featured posts?

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:

please advise if it is the correct way of setting up featured posts and positioning them on top of an archive list:

Solution:

I think this is the correct way.
You can also setup the "Secondary sorting" setting, for example, order by "post date" Descending, see screenshot Secondary-sorting.JPG.

You are right, I think this is the correct way of "setting up featured posts and positioning them on top of an archive list".
You can also setup the "Secondary sorting" setting, for example, order by "post date" Descending, see screenshot Secondary-sorting.JPG.
