Hi,
I start to use Forms from Toolset to create und update CPTs. To get an appropriate form for a CPT is super-easy and I am delighted that I do not have to use other (insufficient) tools like Gravity Forms (as updating does not work).
I just wonder if there are resources to use to design the forms as they look really awkward in the default design. Has anyone a set of css or so just to load somewhere so that a base form just looks a bit nicer?
Kind regards,
Martin

Hi Waqar,
well, I found that page myself already. But it just tells very basic things. What would be useful is:
- to have a better default styling provided by Toolset
- or to have at least a full list of all CSS classes used for Toolset Forms (instead of having all users to watch out for them by using an inspector tool)
- or even better to have a settings section in Toolset where this can be done centrally
Any chance that any of this will happen? I would appreciate that a lot!
Kind regards,
Martin
Thanks for writing back.
> to have a better default styling provided by Toolset
- Toolset includes limited default styles for the form elements, so that they can naturally adopt the styles from the website's active theme. This way the Toolset form element styles are consistent with other forms elements on the website.
> or to have at least a full list of all CSS classes used for Toolset Forms (instead of having all users to watch out for them by using an inspector tool)
> or even better to have a settings section in Toolset where this can be done centrally
- Most users who work with custom CSS code, are used to looking for the target CSS classes and IDs through inspect element tool. But, for others, having a central document with a list of CSS classes or a custom settings section can be useful.
These items are not currently in the development pipeline, but, you're welcome to submit them as a feature request:
https://toolset.com/home/contact-us/suggest-a-new-feature-for-toolset/
Although, we don't have any generic collection of CSS code snippets for this, you're welcome to share a link to a form page from your website, along with what you have in mind for styling, and I'll be happy to share some suggestions, accordingly.
Hi, thanks for sharing information to my questions. I still think it would be a great feature to be able to set css for form elements in a central place – and/or to see the classes in order to do this manually. As classes for form elements do not grow over time, it would be a one-time enhancement.
By the way, in my case no "central form styling" gets taken as other forms look differently (and better) than the one from Toolset. Well, for now I am fine. And I would love to see some improvement one day... 😉
