Hello,
You can follow our document to setup custom fields:
https://toolset.com/course-lesson/creating-custom-fields/
And follow below document to add Toolset Custom Fields to an Elementor Template:
https://toolset.com/course-lesson/using-toolset-with-elementor-page-builder/#Adding-Toolset-Custom-Fields
section "Adding Toolset Custom Fields to an Elementor Template"
To use Toolset plugins with Woocommerce plugin, please check our document:
https://toolset.com/course/custom-woocommerce-sites/
Hello,
thanks for reply.
Let me try to explain I'm on elementor pro with hello theme and woocommerce.
Scenario A) I want to use toolset for custom fields and search functions, the archive and single product will be designed using elementor and added the custom fields as dynamic fields from toolset. The question is may the seach interact with the result? If yes can you please share a guide?
Thanks,
Gianni
Please check the document I mentioned above:
https://toolset.com/course-lesson/using-toolset-with-elementor-page-builder/#Creating-Custom-Archives
section "Creating Custom Archives":
You can design archive pages with Elementor or with Toolset.
That means if you use Elementor to design the WordPress archive page, you can not use Toolset WordPress Archive feature in it, since Toolset Blocks plugin is based on WordPress built-in page builder "Blocks Editor", but Elementor is another page builder, it is not recommended to use two page builders to design the same page/post, it will conduct unexpected result, see the same document:
https://toolset.com/course-lesson/using-toolset-with-elementor-page-builder/#Limitations-when-using-Elementor
section "Limitations when using Elementor and Toolset templates together"
So in your case, I suggest you design the archive page with Toolset WordPress Archive, see our document:
https://toolset.com/course-lesson/creating-a-custom-archive-page/
And setup the custom search form into the WordPress Archive:
https://toolset.com/course-lesson/creating-a-custom-search/
is there a reason why the style of the select is not good?
thanks
Hello,
thanks for reply. Is there a reason why I see the select fields not shown well formatted?
Also after creating an archive page via toolset I cannot find this in the toolset view widget in elementor pro
For the new question:
Is there a reason why I see the select fields not shown well formatted?
It should be a CSS compatibility issue, I have tried it in my localhost with a fresh WP installation + the latest version of Toolset plugins, I see dropdown menu displaying in default format/style, see my screenshot dropdown.JPG
You can use custom CSS codes to style it, see the document I mentioned above:
https://toolset.com/course-lesson/creating-a-custom-search/#style-the-search-box-and-results
Section "Style the search box and results"
