I am trying to: Do my first template of the Woo product page.

Link to a page where the issue can be seen:

I expected to see: a blank page with no sidebar or anything as the starting part to build the template for the product page.

Instead, I got: a page with non removeable content like a sidebar and the Post name/author. How do these things get removed??

Hi Tom,

Thank you for contacting us and I'll be happy to assist.

I've checked your website and noticed that all the Toolset plugins were disabled, but the full-width Beaver Builder template ( Custom Product Page) was now assigned to the single product pages.

Looks like you've managed to make it work after writing to us. As a next step, you can use Toolset plugins to include dynamic content inside the layouts/templates crafted through the Beaver Builder plugin.

We have a detailed guide on the topic at:
https://toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/using-toolset-with-beaver-builder/

Please let me know if you have any further questions around this.

regards,
Waqar

Thanks. But, the issue is not resolved. What you saw is the result from using Beaver Themer. I would prefer to use Toolset. But, when I set up a new content template, the Beaver Builder Child Theme is being used. The child theme puts up a right sidebar (I removed all of the widgets so it takes up the space but is empty) and the Post Title/author. I cannot figure out how to remove these items. I want to start the product page template as a clean slate without the sidebar and other stuff. But, I have not been able to figure out how to remove them. In the customizer, the layout is set to full width without sidebar. But, the product template is obviously not set to full width without sidebar.

Any suggestions?

In the meantime, I am continuing to make changes to the website. So, it may look OK to you. But, go ahead and create a new product template and you will see what I see in the attached screenshot. This is a staging area.

Hi Tom,

Thanks for writing back and for sharing further details.

To make the Beaver Builder, use full-width (no sidebar) template for the product page's content template, you can follow these steps:

1. Copy the file "tpl-full-width.php" from your "bb-theme" folder and place its copy in your active child theme's folder ( "bb-theme-child" ).

2. Rename this copied file to "single-product.php".

3. Make sure that Toolset Views plugin's content template is assigned to your single product pages, and open that content template for editing.

4. From there, click the launch Beaver Builder button and it should show a blank full-width template.

I hope this helps and please let me know how it goes.
