Referring to this threat: https://toolset.com/forums/topic/split-not-all-imported-properties-are-showing/.
Is there finally a solution?
We imported lots of new properties in "Brasschaat" which do NOT show in front-end at all.

Please refer this threat to Waqar.

Hi,

I can confirm that the upcoming release of Maps (2.0.9) includes a new option in the settings pages to run a batch update to add missing addresses to the cache.

That release is expected to roll out fairly soon, but I've also requested some input from the development team to see if it would be feasible and safe to share some patch or a pre-release version with you.

I'll keep you updated.

regards,
Waqar

Untill then, please present a workaround like you did before to solve the issue now.

#2084567

Thank you for waiting.

The development team has shared a pre-release beta version Toolset Maps plugin that includes this new feature to update the map address cache.

You can download it from this link:
hidden link

Important note: As it is a pre-release beta version, it is very important that you make a complete backup copy of the website, before installing and activating it.

1. After the website has been backed up, please go to WP Admin -> Plugins -> Add New and use the upload button at the top to upload this new zip file of the Toolset Maps plugin.
( when prompted, please select the option to overwrite the existing version )

2. When the new plugin version is activated, go to WP Admin -> Toolset -> Settings -> Map and from the "Cached data" section, click the "Check for missing cache entries" button.

When this operation has completed, please check the view with missing listings again.

I hope this helps and let me know how it goes.

Can you send a link through which we can update the new properties (solution you offered before)?
We prefer not to install a pre-release beta version plugin.
When exactly is the official release scheduled?
Thanks!

#2088327

I understand if you'd prefer not to use the pre-release beta version.

Although, I don't have the exact time estimate, the newer release is expected to roll out very soon, and I'll update you through the original ticket.

I couldn't find any "Brasschaat" post type on your website and I also don't have any information about where exactly the newly imported posts are not showing.

However, the temporary view that was created for the workaround in the last ticket is still good to be used at the page {yourwebsite.com}/test-page-from-ts-support/
( ref: {yourwebsite.com}/wp-admin/post.php?post=8024&action=edit )

You'll have to make sure that:

1. The view is set to show the correct post type in the content selection settings.
( screenshot: hidden link )

2. And the correct address field is selected in the map block's settings.
( screenshot: hidden link )

Once you've confirmed both these points, you can visit the front-end of the page and cycle through all the paginated result pages, one by one.

After that, the map-cache should be updated in the background.

Please let me know how it goes and if you need any further assistance.

Waqar,

Both the view ("eigendommen") and address field ("adres") are set correctly, however if at {yourwebsite.com}/wp-admin/post.php?post=8024&action=edit I filter the properties on "Antwerpen" - "Brasschaat" the total results found are "only" 550 BUT we've uploaded around 7.000 properties. What is the issue here?

#2089511

During troubleshooting, I noticed that a distance query filter was added in this view's settings, which I don't recall adding.

I've removed it and now only the query filters for the "eigendom" and the post-relationship exists.
( screenshot: hidden link )

With the distance query filter in place, the view was showing only those results where the address field location has been updated in the map's cache. Whereas the whole point of creating this view was to plot all locations from the imported posts on the map, so that they can be updated in the map's cache.

Now when you'll filter the properties with "Antwerpen" & "Brasschaat" the total results found are 7616.

To summarize, what's left for you to do now is to visit the page "/test-page-from-ts-support/" and cycle through all the paginated result pages and their locations will be updated in the map's cache.

My issue is resolved now. However we need to visit 280 pages one by one to remove cache! Please update when the new software version is released to permanently solve this issue!
