This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:

I have a CRED form with image fields.

Whenever new content is submitted the images uploaded appear to be in "http", I would expect the image to be uploaded with "https" !!

Solution:

CRED form should be able to setup the image field URL according to your wordpress settings: Dashboard-> Settings-> General, option "WordPress Address (URL)"

Hi,

I have a CRED form with image fields.

Whenever new content is submitted the images uploaded appear to be in "http" e.g.

hidden link

I would expect the image to be uploaded with "https" !!

This results in "mix content" when that image is displayed, and hence Google Chrome marks the site as "not secure".

Can you provide a solution / work around?

Many thanks for your great support.

Alvaro

Dear Alvaro,

The problem you mentioned above is abnormal, CRED form should be able to setup the image field URL according to your wordpress settings: Dashboard-> Settings-> General, option "WordPress Address (URL)"

In case it is a compatibility problem, please try this:
1) deactivate other plugins and switch to wordpress default theme, and test again
2) If the problem still persists, please provide a database dump file (ZIP file) of your website in below private detail box, also point out the problem page URL, I need to test and debug it in my localhost, thanks
