Here are what I found in your database dump file:
It seems the image block in English version of content template is broken, and it conducts the problem, please try these:
Edit the content template in English version "Template for Faculty members", ID 2490:
1) option "Usage: single pages", choose post type "Διδάσκοντες"
2) Remove the problem image block, setup it again.

It works fine in my localhost with your database dump file, see screenshot image-block.JPG

I thought to do the same as well but my problem is that when i try to edit the english version i get a notice "This block was translated via WPML. To edit, please return to WPML's Translation Editor and update there."

How can i deal with this ?

Additionally, as you can see on the screenshot ... i can see the images while editing the english version, but not on the frontend.

It seems to be solved.
