I have created a simple job board with toolset, and I having a problem with submitting images via my form (by either the user or admin).

When the page saves, the files do not look like they get uploaded (They are not in the media area).

and when I go to view the cred form for that record a second time, it shows the "empty thumbnail" icon which the image doesn't exist and displays the filename. If I click on this it shows the filepath of the post actual with the image at the end of it.

for example:

hidden link

it is like it is trying to upload it to the post rather than to the media area.

I tried to upload the image via the normal backend admin, and this works fine and they upload and work. so it's just something with the front end submission that is not working.

All of the plugins are up to day, and I have scoured the forums to see if anyone has had a similar problem. Can you advise what the issue is?

Hello,

The problem you mentioned above is abnormal, the uploaded image should also present in wordpress media library too.

I suggest you check these:
1) Make sure you are using the latest version of Toolset plugins( you are using Toolset form plugin version 2.2, the latest version is 2.2.1), you can download them here:
https://toolset.com/account/downloads/

2) In case it is a compatibility problem, please deactivate other plugins, and switch to wordpress default theme 2017, and test again

3) Enable PHP debug logs and copy/paste debug logs here:
