Uploading image to post appears nice as thumbnail.
But after saving post loads full size images on backend.
It started recently - several software updates are made.

Hi there

Can you clarify where you are uploading the images to?

You mean editing a post on the back end rather than submitting a post with a front-end form, yes?

And you are adding images to the post content (classic editor? block editor?)? Or you are adding images to an image custom field?

If we know specifically what you are doing we can try to reproduce the problem.

Also, could you please share your debug info?

Yes, on post edit screen I am adding images to an image custom (repeating )field.

Hi,

Thanks for writing back.

To troubleshoot this, we'll need to see how these images are showing on the post-edit screen.

Can you please share the temporary admin login details, along with the link to the post-edit screen where these images can be seen?

Note: Your next reply will be private and making a complete backup copy is recommended before sharing the access details.

regards,
Waqar

I am still big fan of Legacy Views Editor. Check it please, if this article is valid today:
