I am using views and layouts.
Site in progress here (search results): hidden link

I am trying to: make one archive layout show the archive type in the title bar.

If it's a search results page, show "Search results" in the title.
If it's a monthly archive, i'd like to see something relevant in the title like "Monthly archives" or "Archives for June."
If it's a category archive, i'd like to see something relevant in the title like "Category archives" or "Archives of (cat name)"

I'm looking for the shortcode to display the archive type.
Example: [types field='title-bar'][/types]

Dear Ian,

Please try the Views shortcode [wpv-archive-title], see document:
https://toolset.com/documentation/views-shortcodes/#wpv-archive-title

This shortcode displays the title of the WordPress archive page.
