Tell us what you are trying to do?
On our website I'm putting a basic search on the homepage: hidden link
Just one option, and when someone clicks submit they get taken to a results page. On that results page I want some filters to appear to help lower the results that come up. I've created a second search template to do this, and it does what I want. Unfortunately this search takes over my previous template and becomes the dominant one. It appears everywhere on the site and replaces the basic one. I've tried the usage option in the side panel, but it doesn't seem to work. I've tried both equals and not. Can you help me know where I've gone wrong?

Is there any documentation that you are following?
No

Is there a similar example that we can see?

Not that I'm aware.
What is the link to your site?

hidden link

Hi,

Thank you for contacting us and I'd be happy to assist.

I've checked your website and noticed that currently there are two search results pages:

1. When the WordPress default search form is used from anywhere on the website, it is taken to the WordPress default search results archive page.

Example link:
hidden link

The template/layout of this search is being controlled by the active theme.

2. When the search form available in the center of your homepage is used, it redirects to a page named "Results", that is showing the results using the Toolset's post view.

Example link:
hidden link

From your message, I couldn't exactly understand what is the expected behavior that you had in mind. Can you please share temporary admin login details, along with the changes that you'd like to see in these search result pages?

I'll be in a better position to guide you with the next steps, accordingly.

Note: Your next reply will be private and it is recommended to make a complete backup copy, before sharing the access details.

regards,
Waqar

When I found out that technical support wasn't available over the weekend I continued trying new options. What worked was having a conditional box set up inside the search and having what appeared within appear on certain pages. Thanks for your response though, and I'll be in touch if I need more help.

My issue is resolved now. Thank you!
