I am trying to use the Gutenberg Divi Block in creating a Toolset Content Template for a single custom post type page. The Divi block would not load like it would if it was use in a normal Gutenberg page/post.

I hope you can fix the issue when you get a chance. I know that it is not easy to be compatible with every page builder but in this case Divi has created a Gutenberg block and it would be great to use it within Toolset Content Template since we can't use Toolset within the Divi Builder.

Thank you.

Hello, per current recommendations it is not advised to mix Toolset and Divi content in a single template or post design: https://toolset.com/course-lesson/using-toolset-with-divi/
That advice applies whether adding Toolset content inside a Divi design, or vice versa, adding a Divi layout block within a Toolset template. Since Divi continues to pursue their own priorities in their proprietary builder, it leaves Toolset always on the hook to provide compatibility updates. We cannot effectively pursue our own development goals for playing catchup. Now that the Gutenberg ecosystem is more stable and robust, we have chosen to focus our efforts on providing compatibility with the native WP / Gutenberg builder rather than supporting multiple other 3rd-party builders - Divi, Beaver Builder, Elementor, Avada, Kinsta, Brizy, WP Bakery/Visual Composer, Oxygen, and on and on and on. At this point there is no plan in the foreseeable future to fully support layout element blocks from other page builder systems.

I understand all the above but Gutenberg builder has the capacity to add a Divi block. I am using Gutenberg Editor to create my posts and I can add Divi elements within the Gutenberg framework. I was hoping that the Gutenberg Divi Block would work or have a better chance to work with Toolset as opposed to Divi Builder and Toolset not being compatible, since the Toolset Content Template can be build with Gutenberg framework. To be clear on my usage of the Gutenberg Divi Block isn't about to add Toolset shortcodes in Divi but to only use an element that Divi offers that I can't find in Gutenberg.

Thank you for your prompt answer and for all the hard work you are all putting into your products. 🙂
