Hey guys,

The option to drag the pin and set the location based on the pin isn't working via Toolset Forms but only when submitting the form to create the post. It works when using Toolset Forms to update the address.

Here is a video explanation showing the issue: hidden link

Hello,

I have tried it in my localhost with a fresh WordPress installation + the latest version of Toolset plugins, the drag/drop pin feature works fine in both creating post form and editing post form, please provide detail steps to reproduce the same problem:
How do you setup the post form?

I am using the advanced form editor and I'm setting a default location so that the map isn't blank. Did you try that way?

Hi,

Thanks for writing back.

Luo will be on vacation this week, so I'll be following up on this ticket.

In my tests, I was able to reproduce this behaviour only when:

a). the address field is set to show conditionally, i.e. it is not visible when the page loads and appears when a certain condition is met
and
b). a default value is set in that address field.

This limitation makes sense as the initialization of the pin dragging gets affected, because the field and the map are not visible when the page loading completes.

I'll share this limitation with the concerned team for further review and for now, a workaround can be to not set a default location in that address field.

regards,
Waqar
