I am trying to: I transfered my website from localhost to live. Maps don't show anymore.

I visited this URL: hidden link

I expected to see: the Google map

Instead, I got: A grey rectangle

What I tried :
- I got a new Google map API key
- By the way: I could NOT paste it in the designated place because when I click inside it IT REDIRECTS TO YOUR WEBSITE and I managed to eventually save it
- I emptied my cache
- Still no map

- How can I show the maps ?

Hello myleneB,

Thank you for contacting Toolset Support.

I will be happy to help you with your issue.

I have run the scenario on my fresh local installation but cannot replicate what you are describing.

Could you try following the steps described in the following to backup and migrate your local site again:
https://toolset.com/faq/how-do-i-migrate-a-wordpress-site-from-one-domain-to-the-other/

This helps rule out file and database corruption.

If the above does not work, to rule out plugin or theme compatibility issues, could you please perform the below steps and let me know the outcome?

Minimal Setup
If you disable all non-related Toolset plugins, switch to one of default themes, does the problem persists?
NOTE:
+ Make a backup (both files and database) for your site before updating/proceeding anything (Always a good practice!)

Additionally, could you please follow the PHP Debugging and Javascript Debugging steps provided here:
https://toolset.com/documentation/programmer-reference/debugging-sites-built-with-toolset/

Repeat the action of creating the problem(E.g visit the post page).

Copy and paste the contents of error_log.txt located in your WordPress root directory here for me to see.

Javascript Debugging - Console Errors
Please check your browser consoles, do you see any error?
Reference:

Awaiting your reply.

Kind regards

The site migrated well.
Its just the maps.
I redid (again) the API credentials
I see something like this tread
https://toolset.com/forums/topic/issue-with-google-map-view/
- Marker works
- Map is there
- But map is not visible
- If I scroll out, and/or drag the map, I see the map! In fact I see what is OUTSIDE of the defined rectangle div.
It seems the wp-types form style gets over the map and hides it ?

Hello myleneB,

Thank you for your reply.

At this stage, it would be good if you can then provide me with temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) so that I can verify your settings and guide you to the correct path.

You will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply. hidden link

This info is private and available to you and supporters only. Read more about this: https://toolset.com/toolset-support-policy/privacy-security-providing-debug-information-support/

Note that:
+ Backup (both files and database) your site before giving us your credentials
+ It would be better if you give me the test site rather than the live site.

We'd like to request the permission to disable, enable and install themes and plugins for this site. Please accept this?

Awaiting your reply.

Kind regards

I cannot, the site is live and launched today.
The map works on some pages, such as
hidden link
(cocktail individual page)

But not on
hidden link
(establishment individual page)

The code in both layouts is THE SAME (Except for ID)
[wpv-map-render map_id="map-etablissement" map_height="230px" single_zoom="16" scrollwheel="off" map_type_control="off" street_view_control="off" marker_icon="hidden link"]
[wpv-map-marker map_id="map-etablissement" marker_id="marker-etablissement" marker_field="wpcf-adresse-etablissement"][/wpv-map-marker]

I think wp-types is using a CSS rule that hides the map
But I cannot identify it.

Please help

Hello myleneB,

Thank you for your reply.

I understand you cannot give access to the production site. To properly formulate a solution though, I would therefore like to request a copy of your site to debug locally. You can follow the instructions here on how to create a backup copy of your:
https://toolset.com/faq/how-do-i-migrate-a-wordpress-site-from-one-domain-to-the-other/

You can then upload the files to a service like Google Drive or Dropbox and post me the link as a reply.

The reply will be private and available to you and supporters only. Read more about this: https://toolset.com/toolset-support-policy/privacy-security-providing-debug-information-support/

Awaiting your reply.

Kind regards
