Hi,
I'm not really sure where the problem could be from. Can be from Elementor or Toolset, I don't know. So I have open a ticket in both plugin support.
When I edit a custom type archive or a custom type single, everything works find in editor mode. But when I publish and go see the result online, I'm getting a white page for both archive and single.
I made a video showing the issue : hidden link
Is it a known issue?
I can give you admin access to the website if you want to have a look.
Thank you for your help!
Hello, in most cases this happens because a Toolset Content Template is assigned to some content that also has an Elementor Template assigned. You must choose one or the other, or you'll have conflicts like this because both systems are trying to do the same thing (override a post's display). I took a look in wp-admin and I can see that the post here has both a Toolset Content Template and an Elementor Template assigned:

If you want to use Elementor, I recommend you edit this post and unassign the Toolset Content Template. You can do that by setting the template assignment to "None". You should eventually do this for all the other published fiche-partenaire posts to unassign that Toolset Content Template. Finally, edit the Toolset Content Template from Toolset > Content Templates and change the assignment of that template so that it is not applied to new fiche-partenaire posts. That will prevent the problem from occurring in posts you create later.
Try that first, and then check to see if your Elementor archive template is being applied appropriately. The archive may not work correctly as long as you have fiche-partenaire posts with Toolset Content Templates applied. If the archive is still broken, let me know and I'll take a closer look.
Oh and if you have not seen this already, I encourage you to check out or documentation for using Toolset and Elementor together effectively: https://toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/using-toolset-with-elementor-page-builder/
There's some helpful information in there about some of the nuances of working with these two systems.
Hi,
Thank you very much for your help!
It was the problem. Actually, I had created a custom template with toolset that I was embedding inside a view. I after added this view into my Single Template (Elementor) with the Toolset View widget.
My idea is that I want to create the main frame of the single custom type template with Elementor that includes a title and two other custom fields but I want the rest of the page to be a view that will only show the content related to that specific custom type page ID. I want to be able to use the "Templates for this View" section to generate the exact HTML, CSS and shortcode that I want that Elementor can't do.
My only solution would be to create the full template with Toolset or I can start a single template for that Custom Type with Elementor but can create half of the page with a view?
I'm not sure if I'm clear. Hopefully, you understand what I'm trying to do 🙂
Thank you
Hi,
I just tried to use the Loop Editor section of the view and added some shortcode and it's seems to work. So can I just use that section instead to show the info that I want on that current custom post? Or I should do something better to get a similar result? I just want to make sure I'm doing the right thing.
Thank you!

Yes, that is correct. If you want to use a View in your page design, you should place the contents directly inside the loop tags. You should not place a Content Template anywhere inside the View. Any time you use a Content Template and an Elementor template together on the same page, the results will be unpredictable.
My issue is resolved now. Thank you!
