[Resolved] Getting search form to work using custom taxonomy in a view

Thank you for waiting as this troubleshooting took longer than initially expected.

I managed to download the clone of your website and here are the findings:

It turns out that the website's database contains too many leftover tables, which are no longer needed or are from different WordPress installs. There are about 250 tables in this database and this large number results in timeout errors when the server communicates with the database.

To fix this, I'll recommend the following steps:

1. Please optimize the existing tables and remove the ones which are not needed. The following guides will prove useful on this topic:

2. In case the issue still persists, you can consult your hosting's support team and request to increase the "max_allowed_packet" value in the MySQL settings.
