I am unable to create a new using Blocks due to some really odd behavior with the editor. I have disabled all plugins other than Toolset, switched themes, clear my browser and hosting caches, but can not resolve the issue. When the editor first loads, everything looks fine for a moment, but then the layout completely breaks. It's hard to describe, so here is a link to a screen capture. In it I'm just placing a View on a blank page using the Block editor. Any idea of what is responsible for this?

Here is the video: hidden link
Thanks 🙂

Hi,

Thank you for contacting us and I'd be happy to assist.

I've performed some tests on my website, with the latest WordPress, Twenty Twenty theme, and the Toolset Types and Blocks plugins, but couldn't reproduce this issue.

Do you see any error or warning on the screen or in the browser's console, when the layout breaks?

You're also welcome to share temporary admin login details along with the link to an example page where this issue can be seen.

Note: Your next reply will be private and please make a complete backup copy, before sharing the access details.

regards,

Hi,

Thank you for waiting while I performed some troubleshooting and research.

I recently came across another report of a similar issue that turned out to be specific to the Managed WordPress hosting from GoDaddy.
( ref: https://toolset.com/forums/topic/views-builder-not-working/#post-1722153 )

Just as mentioned in my reply on the other thread ( ref: https://toolset.com/forums/topic/views-builder-not-working/#post-1721375 ), I can see the issue with the blocks based view editor on a new page "Test page from TS support" created on your website.

To confirm that it is the same issue related to the server/hosting configuration, it would be interesting to test the clone/snapshot of the website on a different server. And once it is confirmed, you can get in touch with the hosting's support team to see if they can find anything in the server's error log.
( you'll find the Toolset's server requirements at https://toolset.com/toolset-requirements/ )

Note: In case the issue persists on a different server too, you're welcome to share a clone/snapshot with me so that I can further investigate this on my own server.

Please let me know how it goes and I've set your next reply as private.

Hi,

Thank you very much for sharing the duplicator package.

I've tested it on a couple of different servers and the Blocks views editor seems to work as expected.
( screenshot: hidden link )

This confirms that there is nothing wrong at your website's install itself and the issue is indeed server-specific.

You're welcome to share server logs if you see any errors/warnings related to Toolset blocks and would like us to investigate this matter further.

If you're fine with using the classic editor for this particular project and server, this ticket can be marked as resolved.
