I am returning to this project after being away from it for a long time
I made a copy of the "Pilots" type to "Pilots Copy"
Then deleted "Pilots", then created a new "Pilots" type BUT the old contents came back
So I deleted the content of "Pilots" then deleted "Pilots" and created a new Pilots
I got the error "Warning: field slug already used", when I attempted to create the "Street" field
I deleted everything, thinking the error was because of the existing Field groups and/or the copy of Pilots
I deleted Pilots and Pilots copy and all Field groups. I'm not using Toolset for any other types
I created a new Pilots post type, it appears to be new because it prompts for "Add Custom Fields" in the dashboard and it is not showing there are any existing field groups
At this point I would expect there is no custom field called "Street" since Toolset is not used for anything else
I have successful used "Street" in this type before, however it will not accept it now, giving the same error every time ""Warning: field slug already used"
I get the same error using terms like First Name, ICS -- all field names I've used before

thanks for your help

Hello,

Please try these:
Dashboard-> Toolset-> Custom Fields, click button "Post Field Control", there you can find those missing custom fields, and you can remove them or add them into field groups.
