Hello, thank you for this amazing product. I am almost done my first build with toolset and hung-up on a few things. I tried my best to rule everything out first, including divi, read your help docs, etc, etc

I have had this issue for awhile but assumed the issue would reveal itself to me as I did more development. I am baffled by this and 30 hours of reading and testing has made no change so I need your help please. I have done all the regular diagnostics process such as changing themes, disabling plugins, removing custom shortcodes/functions. I have quadruple-checked every content template and view. Cannot make sense of what is happening but it does seem to be related to toolset search results

Basically, when you change a search filter and ajax updates the results there is some extra <div> type code that appears only after retrieving the new results. I have separated my content to help display the issue on my page.

I have a thick red border surrounding the problem area

I have stacked 5 identical text-boxes, with a border around the row (using divi)

BUG TEST BOX #1
BUG TEST BOX #2
BUG TEST BOX #3
BUG TEST BOX #4
BUG TEST BOX #5

When you change the Location filter in the header to another location, you will see what I mean

The bottom 4 stay fine but the top one goes all crazy (acts like there is an extra <div> or </div> except I don't see any inside this area

Link to a page where the issue can be seen:

This is slowly making me go crazy and I would appreciate your help 🙂 Thank you

I have had to remove the bug test boxes from the live site. You can still see it act up, but to see the boxes in the photo use the duplicator copy and visit /browse

thank you

Well - this looks like a known compatibility issue and there is no solution to it.

There is an issue with CSS class names generated by Divi and Ajax custom search. I would suggest to disable AJAX custom search and apply styles with CSS instead of applying it to the Divi modules.

Please check following related tickets:

Wow that is very dissapointing news. Removing Divi and Ajax are not an option. I spent a small fortune on freelancers and my own time trying to diagnose this, I wish it was mentioned up front about this issue somewhere as this will be a lot of costly re-development. If you have any other suggestions I would be open to trying anything to keep ajax in my search and divi for layouts

Well - I'm sorry but that is the limitation, I will ask our Doc team to add this note somewhere with our Divi related Docs.

You can still check the following and it will be good information to know:

As I do not have any other way, Please feel free to modify your view to not to use ajax search thats the best solution for now.
