I am trying to: Link to an external url via a submitted post from

Link to a page where the issue can be seen: hidden link

I expected to see: a link to an external site

Instead, I got: When I mouse over it is showing the domain url inserted before the external url and when clicked it is sent to a non-existant url

Hi Alan,

Thank you for waiting.

During testing, I was not able to reproduce the issue you reported on either my own website or yours.

The URL type custom fields for the "Member Portfolio" post type are not acting as "required" fields but would show validation error, if incorrect/incomplete URL is provided.

For example, check your post "Sarah Webb":
hidden link

If you'll try to save "www.swcraftycreations.weebly.com" as a URL, it will show a validation error ( screenshot: hidden link ), but "hidden link" saves and links, just fine.

Note: The "Etsy" and the "Twitter" URL fields had a checkbox enabled for "Required" and not for the "URL", but I've fixed that for you.

regards,
Waqar
