Events manager plugin recurring events is gone when I enable access

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

Hi,

I'm using this plugin to display events: https://wordpress.org/plugins/events-manager/. It has a recurring events option, but if I enable the Toolset Access plugin, that option is gone. Doesn't matter if I use access to manage that CPT or not.

Thank you for contacting us and I'd be happy to assist.

This has come up before and a solution is fairly simple, as explained in this forum reply:

The recurring events feature from the 'Events Manager' plugin becomes accessible if the 'Recurring Events' post type is set to be 'Managed by Access'.
( from WP Admin -> Toolset -> Access Control -> Post Types )

Hmm I did try that, but apparently, I had to refresh before recurring events became visible again. Thanks 🙂
