Elementor Gallery module not showing Toolset Repeating Image fields

This support ticket is created 4 years, 9 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

I am trying to display images from a Toolset Repeating Image field in an Elementor Gallery module.

It works fine most of the time but when uploading a portrait version of a large image it isn't working. WordPress seems to be adding -scaled or -rotated onto the end of the filename.

Hi, yes the dynamic sources system in Elementor is unfortunately limited in scope and functionality. It works best with Types's simple, single instance fields. Repeating fields do not work with their Dynamic content system, nor is it possible to choose fields from related posts. The only page builder system that works with Toolset's repeating image fields is Toolset Blocks, where you have the option of creating Gallery blocks using Types image fields as the dynamic content source.
