Hi

I really want to start using Elasticsearch with Toolset views as my post count is going to be quite high.

Is there any plugins that integrate with Toolset for this that you know of?

Hi,

Thank you for contacting us and I'd be happy to assist.

While we don't officially recommend any specific Elasticsearch plugin, the "WPSOLR" seems to offer a dedicated extension for Toolset integration:

I hope this helps and please let me know if you need any further assistance around this.

Hi Waqar,

I did come across this actually but it looks like this plugin is actually discontinued annoyingly 🥺 as it looked great.

I literally can't find anything else.

What do you propose for a WP site with a lot of posts in regards to search? Elasticsearch seems the way to go but Toolset doesn't have an integration.

The only integration seems to be Relevanssi but they advise against being used if you have a lot of posts.

Cheers

Hi,

Thanks for writing back.

We do have an internal ticket to integrate views with ElasticSearch, but I'm afraid, we don't have a time estimate to share at this time.

For now, official integration is only offered for Relevanssi ( ref: https://toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/views/searching-texts-custom-fields-views-relevanssi/ ) and indexing through this should still be faster than having no indexing at all.

Did you get a chance to test the results after indexing through Relevanssi?

Waqar
