I am trying to: Save content formatted (bod, etc..) in editor wysiwyg in visual mode. I save and appears empty. Only if i save it in text mode it works.

Link to a page where the issue can be seen: Inside the WP in the url . If you need credential please i can send you

I expected to see: The text

Instead, I got: nothiung / Empty

I've deactivated ALL, even the theme, and only Twenty theme with Toolset. Doesnt works. I'll send you here a screencast with the example:

Hello,

Thanks for the details, the problem you mentioned above is abnormal, please check these:
1) check if there is any PHP/JS error in your website:
https://toolset.com/documentation/programmer-reference/debugging-sites-built-with-toolset/
2) If the problem still persists, please provide database dump file(ZIP file) of your website, you can put the package files in your own google drive disk, share the link only, also point out the problem page/post URL, I need to test and debug it in my localhost, thanks

We've recently discovered and highlighted this issue that if the "Editor" option is disabled for a post type, any WYSIWYG field attached to that post type can't save the changes in the 'visual' tab, properly.

I don't have a time estimate to share at the moment, but, I'll keep you updated on the progress through this ticket.

Currently, please try these:
Edit your custom post type, in section "Sections to display when editing", enable option "Editor", see screenshot:

And test again.

Hello,

I've tested the second option, and it works, but the client think its confusing see the editor at the first time in page because they have a expecific field to descripion of course. There is any way, code snippet or something for dont view the editor, or we need to wait for a solucion from Toolset?

PD: The BBDD you need to do the steps you've indicated me in your first solution?

slt

You can wait for the fix, see the erratum here:
https://toolset.com/errata/content-of-wysiwyg-field-lost-when-updating-posts/

It is still in open status, and there isn't other better workaround for this issue.

And you don't do the steps of my first answer.

Hello,

I have another issue when we tried to put this in production. Not only have the issue that the editor doesn't save .
Even all the fileds created in WYSIWYG have dessapeared!!!!!. Please, we've seen that we cant downgrade at the previus version . So we need a Solution for the client !! Please its urgent!

#2192457

Please elaborate the new questions with more details:

I have another issue when we tried to put this in production. Not only have the issue that the editor doesn't save .
Even all the fileds created in WYSIWYG have dessapeared

Have you tried the workaround in erratum:
The problem only occurs when using the Visual tab of the WYSIWYG editor, switching to the Text tab the issue does not occur.

Have you tried to clear your browser cache and test again?
See the answer in above erratum:

Hello Luo,

Not, in my installation doesnt works, and the client test it also and not not works. Even is impossible switch betwen the text & visual tab.
I tried deactivated all plugins and theme to twenty, and not.
We've installed a copy before the update and did again the new Type post for the client because was urgent. But we have other installations with toolset that we did'nt update for not have problems.

We need to Know when it will resolve for update in security instances. We cant test each time there will be the next update for re do it the work (because is not possible a downgrade)

I wait for the update for a solution here.

Slt.
