[Resolved] Drag and drop a block

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:

In the past I could drag and drop a block from say one grid to another or one column to another.. There used to be a handle on the block which would appear when you hover or click on it.. I can't seem to find it now

Solution:

It is a known WordPress core issue, see the ticket here:
https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/issues/20078

We can not fix the WordPress core issue, however if they can fix the core issue, then Toolset Blocks should be able to work too.

It is still possible to drag-and-drop blocks by clicking and holding the arrow icons.

Tell us what you are trying to do?
In the past I could drag and drop a block from say one grid to another or one column to another.. There used to be a handle on the block which would appear when you hover or click on it.. I can't seem to find it now.. is it something on my installation or is it some design update?

Is there any documentation that you are following?

Is there a similar example that we can see?

What is the link to your site?

Hi Luo

Thanks for the update..

It's pretty frustrating to have this feature not there..;-).. but is there any other way to move a block?

I wouldn't want to delete and recreate a block.. how do you guys manage?

Please advise.

Regards,
Alim

I use move up/down button or Reusable Block:

Thanks Luo for the update..:-)..

The move up and down would not work when I have to move across grids or columns.. but yes, the reusable block seems like a good option.. I didn't know you could do that..;-)..

Thanks again.. Have a nice day..:-)..

Regards,
Alim
