[Resolved] Display Multi-Value Custom Field as List

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem: I have a checkboxes group custom field on a post. I would like to display a list of the checked checkboxes in the post template.

Solution: Use a series of conditionals that tests the custom field values and displays the corresponding text:

<ul>
[wpv-conditional if="( '[types field='room-size' option='0'][/types]' eq '1' )"]
   <li>Option 1</li>
[/wpv-conditional]

[wpv-conditional if="( '[types field='room-size' option='1'][/types]' eq '1' )"]
   <li>Option 2</li>
[/wpv-conditional]

[wpv-conditional if="( '[types field='room-size' option='2'][/types]' eq '1' )"]
   <li>Option 3</li>
[/wpvconditional]
</ul>

Tell us what you are trying to do?

I have a CPT that has a multi-select checkbox field. On the front-end I want to display the results as an unordered list, but the wpv-post-field only brings them in as a comma separated string or whatever separator I choose.

Is there any way with a View or a shortcode to do this?

Is there any documentation that you are following?

Couldn't find any after searching for an hour.

Is there a similar example that we can see?

The right side-bar you can see how the "Specialties". Our users will submit similar values using checkboxes in a front-end form and display them like you see on that page.

You can see how they are currently output on our site

Hi, with a checkboxes field you can use conditional HTML to display a list item per checkbox. Here's an example:

<ul>
[wpv-conditional if="( '[types field='room-size' option='0'][/types]' eq '1' )"]
   <li>Option 1</li>
[/wpv-conditional]

[wpv-conditional if="( '[types field='room-size' option='1'][/types]' eq '1' )"]
   <li>Option 2</li>
[/wpv-conditional]

[wpv-conditional if="( '[types field='room-size' option='2'][/types]' eq '1' )"]
   <li>Option 3</li>
[/wpvconditional]
</ul>

Let me know if you have questions about this approach.
