Hello! I am trying to use the toolset views to create a checklist of categories for the user to select from. This is no issue - i am using the shortcode: [wpv-control-post-taxonomy taxonomy="ih-category" type="checkboxes" format="%%NAME%%" url_param="wpv-ih-category"] for this.
*However* i would like to customize the output of this filter so that the checkboxes are divided by Letter. Ex

A
__Alto
__Amigo
__Apple

B
__Banana
__Boat

C
__Cat
__Cheese

etc...

I've tried using JS but that's not allowing me to keep the functionality of the search. Any guidance is appreciated!

Thanks!

Hi,

Thank you for contacting us and I'd be happy to assist.

I can't think of any workaround other than the custom JS code that you're working on.

Can you please share temporary admin login details and the link to the page where this custom script can't be seen? I may be able to suggest some changes to make it work with the search functionality too.

Note: Your next reply will be private, and a complete backup copy is recommended before sharing the access details.

regards,
Waqar
