Custom Select list field not keeping previously saved values.

This support ticket is created 6 years, 5 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

I am trying to: Update a custom select list field called "County". I save the post with the county option "Sacramento", then the post saves successfully. Then I edit the same post again, but the Sacramento choice is missing and not actually saved.

Link to a page where the issue can be seen: Backend post edit form for a custom post type called "Basin".

I expected to see: The different county that I selected.

Instead, I got: The county field is empty and doesn't even save the first choice I selected.

Hello,

The problem you mentioned above is abnormal, please try these:

1) In case it is a compatibility problem, please deactivate other plugins, and switch to wordpress default theme 2017, and test again

2) If the problem still persists, please provide database dump file(ZIP file) of your website, also point out the problem page URL and view URL, I need to test and debug it in my localhost, thanks
