Tell us what you are trying to do?
Can you explain how I set up a custom search which displays every post with a numerical custom field lower than what the user inputs.
for example 'MAX PRICE' field, displays posts all with a price lower than that number.
Thnks
Hello, thank you for contact us. I will try to do my best to help you.
You can create a View and filter the result using a Query by Custom Fields as explained here: https://toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/filtering-views-by-custom-fields/
There are some examples of this kind of view in some of our references sites, like this: https://toolset.com/reference-site/toolset-classifieds/
Feel free to test it in a local environment or in a demo site. The query looks like the one in the screenshot attached.
Please let me know if this solves the issue or if you need further details.
Have a good day.
OKay thanks Ive solved that.
However when I try to add a new filter, it only allows me to choose from custom fields, and I would also now like to add a filter by date. Can you ehlp?
Hello again, do you mean that when you click on the button "Add a filter", you only can select custom fields? If so, I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site to take a better look at the issue. It would be better to a testing site where the issue is replicated.
I have enabled private reply, that means that only you and I are able to see the credentials.
Thank you.
