Tell us what you are trying to do?
I want the Custom Search filter on the Shop page (Toolset archive) to find and display all products with the searched for word(s). Right now, it finds only one product for, e.g. caffeine, even when there are many more having that word somewhere in the text.
Is there any documentation that you are following?
no
Is there a similar example that we can see?
try with any word
What is the link to your site?
hidden link
Hi,
Thank you for contacting us and I'd be happy to assist.
To troubleshoot this, I'll need to see how these products and the shop archive page are set up in the admin area.
Can you please share temporary admin login details, in reply to this message? Also, include some example product names that should be showing in the search, but are not.
Note: Your next reply will be private and it is recommended to make a complete backup copy before sharing the access details.
regards,
Waqar
Thank you for sharing the access details.
The form that is used in the header of the homepage and the rest of the website comes from the 'Advanced Woo Search' plugin. That plugin's search is designed to search from elements that are selected in the settings at WP Admin -> Advanced Woo Search -> Settings -> General.

Currently, the title, Content, SKU, Short description, Category, and Tag are selected. This means that this plugin's search will bring in the product results if the searched term is found in any of these enabled elements.
The Toolset's text search field which is used in the shop archive page, uses WordPress default search functionality. This text search can only search within the product titles and the product description (content).
( note: this default search can be extended to include results from custom fields and taxonomies/categories through the 'Relevanssi' plugin, as explained in this guide: https://toolset.com/course-lesson/searching-texts-in-custom-fields-with-toolset-and-relevanssi/ )
However, I also noticed that currently, this shop page's text search field is not showing those products where the search term ( e.g. caffeine ) is included in the product description (content). It seems to only show the products, where the searched term is in the post title, even though the option 'Posts content and title' is selected in that search field's settings.

To troubleshoot this, I'll recommend temporarily disabling all extra plugins ( i.e. other than Toolset and WooCommerce ) and activating the default WordPress theme like 'Twenty Twenty-One'.
If the issue is fixed, you can start activating the disabled theme and plugins back on, one at a time, to narrow down to a possible conflicting one.
I hope this helps and let me know how it goes.
Thanks, Waqar, yes, I know the situation, and please do what is needed trying to fix it.
Were you able to perform the troubleshooting steps that I recommended in my last message?

If that doesn't work let me know and with your permission, I'll download the website's clone and test this on a different server for further investigation.
