Custom Post Type Not Showing on the Authors Results Page

This support ticket is created 5 years, 2 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

I created a custom post type called Game Reviews. This post type shows up on all the other list pages but when you go to an authors page, no articles from the custom post type Game Reviews shows up on the author's article list page.

Here is the Game Reviews results page (every article on this page is the custom post type Game Reviews).

You will see that the custom post type article, Ninja Legends Game Review doesn't show up on Kevin's author page.

How can I get all custom post types Game Reviews to show up on the appropriate author pages?

Hi,

Thank you for contacting us and I'd be happy to assist.

By default, WordPress author archives ( e.g. hidden link ), only list Posts and not the other custom post types.

You can create a custom author archive page using Toolset Views, which will give you the control to choose which post types should be included.
