[Resolved] Custom field group not showing on the post edit screen

This support ticket is created 4 years, 1 month ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

Hi, I just created a simple fields group linked to a CPT "Partner" but the group is not visible on existing or new Partners. Never had this issue before, been using Toolset for years.

Hello, I just created a staging with the WP Staging plugin and without touching anything, the Fields Group is visible for the CPT on the Staging site.

I just created a 2nd fields group and linked it to the Partners CPT, that group also does not show up.

Thanks for writing back and for sharing the update.

Are the production and the staging websites, hosted on the same server?

I'll recommend to turn on WordPress debugging for the production website and see if any errors or warnings are shown on the screen or in the server's error logs.

I just updated the live site to the latest WP version, although staging was on the same WP version (not latest) and cleared the WP Rocket cache, now the fields group are visible. Very strange as I had already cleared WP Rocket cache 10 times.
