Location: Toolset "properties" template.
Error in red color:
Something went wrong while fetching the dynamic content from the selected source, with message: "Sorry, you are not allowed to do that.".
Didn't change anything on this template for the last couple of weeks.
Now all of a sudden this critical error appears?
The tamplate is not fetching the content so we can't make any changes!
Hello and thank you for contacting the Toolset support.
Can you share a screenshot of this error to let us know where it does occur? While taking the screenshot, can you also capture the URL, that will help us know more about the context where this error occurs?
We'll also need to isolate this issue from other parts of the system, maybe it is caused by a compatibility conflict with a component that was updated recently. Please check if this issue appears when:
- Only Toolset plugins are activated. It will tell us if there is an interaction issue with another plugin.
- The theme is set to a WordPress default like Twenty-Twenty. It will tell us if there is an interaction issue with your theme.
If the problem disappears, start activating one at a time to track where the incompatibility is produced.
please assign Waqar to investigate this issue.
Hi,
I've checked the website's admin area and noticed that there are quite a lot of updates pending. Also, when viewing the edit screen of the template "Properties", there are a number of errors in the browser's console.
Please make sure that the WordPress, Astra theme, and all plugins are updated to the latest versions, and then check the template's edit screen again.
In case the issue still persists, I'll need your permission to download a clone/snapshot of the website, to investigate this on a different server.
regards,
Waqar
Hi Waqar, we updated everything. However, the critical error is still there.
Is there a way to solve this issue latest by tomorrow? We have several demos coming up and require to make changes to this template.
You can create a clone of the website and investigate.
Hi Waqar, any solution yet? We need to add a few things to the template today bacause of the demos starting tomorrow morning.
Thank you for the permission and I've downloaded the latest duplicator package.
You can continue with any other changes on the website and I'll share my findings, as soon as I can.
Thank you for your patience.
We uploaded a set of new properties over the WP import plugin and get the below error:
Updating failed. The response is not a valid JSON response.
This is due to the critical Toolset template bug.
Tomorrow 11am CET we have a series of demos and we need these issues to be solved before them.
This is not the first time that these kind of issues appear.
I cannot laugh with it.
These demos mean a lot to our company!
Thank you for waiting.
During troubleshooting, I noticed that no "Eigendommen" post was selected in the "View with" field to use for the preview data.
( screenshot: hidden link )
I selected a post ( "Woning, Balen" ) and that error is fixed and the content template is editable again.
I've also shared the details about this scenario with the concerned team for further review, so it can be avoided in the future.
We have successfully imported the properties however only 4 of about 450 properties in Herentals show up in front-end?
Go to "eigendom zoeken", query: Provincie: Antwerpen, Stad: Herentals and search.
If you search for properties in Herentals in the backend you will see them all appearing.
Please solve this issue ASAP today.
Thanks for writing back.
Can you please confirm if the issue with the editing of the content template "properties" is fixed now?
You're welcome to mark this ticket as resolved if it is fixed and as for your question about the imported posts, I'll follow up on it, through a separate ticket.
