I am trying to:
Upload a featured image containing special norwegian characters, for example ø æ å into a CRED-form.

I expected to see:
A "Clear"-link and a thumbnail version of the uploaded image

Instead, I got:
Erroneous html-code.

See attached screen shots.
Image name in the functioning case: random-391.jpg
Image name in the not functioning case: test å ø æ.jpeg

Similar kind of issue reported by other users as well. Could you please try to follow instructions given by Yuri on following link and try to resolve your issue.

I hope that will probably fix your issue.

Hi Minesh,

Thank you for the quick response!
Unfortunatly it did not work.

I tried commenting out the following line:

add_filter('sanitize_file_name', array($this, 'sanitize_file_name'));

in /wp-content/plugins/types/common/toolset-forms/bootstrap.php

But I still get the same error.

Any more suggestions?

*** Please make a FULL BACKUP of your database and website.***
I would also eventually need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to your site. Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible in order to be of better help and check if some configurations might need to be changed.

I would additionally need your permission to de- and re-activate Plugins and the Theme, and to change configurations on the site. This is also a reason the backup is really important. If you agree to this, please use the form fields I have enabled below to provide temporary access details (wp-admin and FTP).

I have set the next reply to private which means only you and I have access to it.
